WriteWay was established in 2018 by one of the founders of Alibaba, Michael Zhou. WriteWay is a product of Living Sky Technologies based out of Saskatoon. I joined WriteWay when it was approaching initial stages of development. With no website, no logo, and a product still in development, establishing a strong brand identity was critical to successfully entering the market. Joining a start-up is a fun challenge that offers a lot of creativity and pushes your agility. This example focuses on brand building which is the process of generating awareness and promotion of a company. I focus on determining your target audiences, positioning your product and business, defining your company's personality/look, and establishing consistent messaging.
